| A PARISIAN LIFE |

As you already know I grew up in the South of France. Sun, sea, beach, all that kind of stuffs was my daily routine but every two years I used to go to Paris. For what? To attend the famous “auto showroom” with all the biggest car manufacturers. During the Saturday, it was only about dreaming about my future car and on the Sunday, it was dedicated to visiting Paris. It’s here that my love for this city started.

What is it to live in Paris?
We often forget to say, time is needed to discover the city and make it part of you. Every time I stumble across a new place, new people that all have a different history to tell. Live in Paris is that, meet the difference and see the beauty coming from it. This city is incredible and lets you dream through all the opportunities but also by its architecture. Tourist tend to say that people are grumpy in the subway or in the street, but I truly believe that everyone can be happy here. You just need to come longer than a weekend, overcome your fears and be curious.
How is the student life here?
I don’t know where to start. The best schools and students are there. You can learn so much from this chance. However, I think that the things you are interested in is the life besides school. Just WOW! Paris has bars, clubs, restaurants everywhere. By crossing a street, you can reach an Italian restaurant, an Indian bar, a French bakery, it’s just crazy how it’s easy to find new things to do. And it’s the same for activities, museums, monuments, theaters, shops etc… It never stops.

So, what to do to feel like a French native?
You just need to speed in the escalator to get your metro. You are now a real Parisian. Stop kidding, I would say that first, you need to do as all good tourists by visiting “La Tour Eiffel”, “Le Louvre”, “Montmartre”, “Les Champs Elysées”, “Les Invalides” because it’s the foundation of our culture. Even by seeing them pretty often, I am always impressed by the greatness of it. A lot of details and a big history with it.
Where to eat in Paris?
After visiting our beautiful monuments, you can’t leave without tasting our gastronomy. We have clichés about French and I think they are right enough on this point. We love to eat, drink and take time for those kinds of moments. It could be a little bit expensive for young people and even older people, but it is always so good. I would recommend you to go to the place “La Bastille” that is not really known from tourists (hehe good tips over here) and which propose extraordinary “cafés”. “Le Marais” could also be nice for variety but it’s full of people, especially for shopping. The things you absolutely need to try is “Ladurée” with the famous macarons.

Where to do some shopping?
Everybody knows that Parisian people are fashionista and you know why? It is because we have all the luxury and atypical shops near to us. Just by visiting the Marais, you can fall on “Supreme”, “Nike lab” for young people and “Sandro” or “The Kooples” for adults. On the “Champs Elysées”, you will find Chanel, Dior and Louis Vuitton… If you start shopping, you can’t stop, it’s impossible not to find something that you like. Don’t forget to check your bank account 😊.
What to do during the night?
I like to say that is not difficult to find a place to hang out in Paris. Sometimes, I go into the street and just follow the noise and people who are leading me to new discoveries. Just by going near to the “Champs Elysées”, you can find at least 10 clubs and bars which are well known like “B Before”, ‘L’Eden Club Paris” or “Le Joy”. The Rivoli is also a typical place where chic people like to go, bring your best outfit and let you charm by the atmosphere.

Paris is a city where you do all in one place. Just besides the next corner, you will find a new bar, by crossing the street, you will meet 10 nationalities, by working, you will have the best opportunities. It is just incredible how I feel blessed to be here. Just follow your intuition and it guides you towards amazing discoveries.
